The 33-year-old-right-handed-batter from Perth achieved a milestone as he become the first Australian batter to hit a six on the very first ball of a T20I match.

The Australia batter who hit a six on the very first ball of the T20I match and achieved the record on Sunday, is Mitchell Marsh. He played as an opener and hit a six in the match against South Africa.

Mitchell Marsh created this milestone against South African bowler, Lungi Ngidi by hitting a six on the very first ball of the match and registered his name in the history books.

After hitting the six, Mitchell Marsh became the first Australia batter to hit the first ball of the match. However, the former captain of Australia and opener Aaron Finch also did the same thing in a T20I for his team.

After scoring his first runs with a six, Marsh hit a classic shot and the ball was connected to the boundary for four runs on the second delivery of the match. However, he couldn’t make it longer and was sent to the pavilion by Kagiso Rabada.

On the first ball of the fourth over of the match, Mitchell Marsh departs and is sent back to the pavilion. However, he tried to smash the ball into the crowd but caught into the safe hands of Kwena Maphaka.
