In a recent podcast, Indian team’s out-of-favour spinner Yuzvendra Chahal has recently opened up about his relation with his ex-wife Dhanashree Verma. The pair recently got divorced by Mumbai family court in March.

Now, Yuzvendra Chahal revealed that it has been a long time since he had talked with or texted Dhanashree. He even mentioned that after the 2024 T20 World Cup, both of them were talking only if necessary.

“I had not seen her for a very long time, and then I saw her on a video call, where the lawyers spoke to us. That’s it, no message or anything after that. Before the divorce, we weren’t on talking terms for six to seven months. We would talk only if there was something very important; otherwise, nothing. It was like that for a while, but after the T20 World Cup, it started properly,” Chahal said on Raj Sahmani’s YouTube channel.

Yuzvendra Chahal clarified that he had never cheated on Dhanashree despite there being a number of rumours about him doing so. Their divorce grabbed countless number of headlines.
