The Indian team is all set to feature at the Asia Cup 2025, set to be held at the UAE. The tournament will witness the Men in Blue facing the host themselves. However, with less than 20 days to go for the event, they have been given a massive blow.

The Indian team has been given a massive blow ahead of the Asia Cup as, according to a report, they might be playing without any jersey sponsor- since their current sponsor Dreama 11 might be in a tough position- because of the latest move taken by the Indian government.

As per NDTV, Dream 11 will no longer sponsor the Indian men’s cricket team. This is because the Government of India passed the ‘Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Bill, 2025’. This bill bans the use of real-money based gambling platforms.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) have not made any official statement regarding Dream 11. However, the report has stated that the board is going to invite a new jersey sponsor. While the dress for the Asia Cup has already been printed with the sponsor logo, they will not be used for the event.
