The veteran India pacer got married to the former IPL cheerleader back in the year 2014. Their marriage took place in Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh.
The duo have been living separately since 2018
Shami and Hasin Jahan have been living separately since the year 2018. This happened after his wife levelled charges of infidelity and domestic abuse against the veteran India cricketer.
Shami and Hasin haven’t been officially divorced as of yet
Despite living separately for almost 7 years now, the duo still haven’t been officially divorced. The court’s final verdict on their divorce case is yet to come.
Hasin made shocking comments on Shami and his family
Shami’s wife made shocking comments about the veteran pacer and his family after his sister and brother-in-law were included in the MNREGA scheme. “Bhrashtachari pradhan desh hai bharat Garibo ko aur garib, pratarit kia jata hai hamare mahan bharat me. pese wale auratbazo ko facility aur illegal karmo me support kia jata hai. Wese bhi shami Ahmad ka bap bana hua hai Narendra modi aur yogi (Yogi Adityanath), asani se bach jaega sare haramkhor,” Hasin wrote on Instagram.
Shami was bought by the Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL 2025 auction
The veteran India pacer’s services were acquired by the Hyderabad-based franchise in the IPL 2025 auction for a whopping fee of INR 10 crore.
Shami’s performance in IPL 2025 so far
The veteran India pacer hasn’t lived up to his enormous price tag in the first 3 matches of the season to say the least. Shami has only picked up 2 wickets in SRH’s first 3 matches of the ongoing IPL campaign and will be looking to get back into form as soon as possible.
