The 2025 edition of Indian Premier League (IPL) is going to begin on March 22. The first clash of the season will be between Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR).
Reliance Jio has stated ahead of the competition that with some specific plans, cricket fans will be able to watch the IPL for free on JioHotstar app. On Monday (March 17), Reliance Jio, the biggest telecom provider in India has stated that the customers can watch IPL for free for the next two and half months if they did a recharge of more than Rs. 299.
According to the company, the deal lets customers to watch the matches on the JioHotstar app, which is a joint venture between Reliance and Disney. The IPL is set to take place from March 22 to May 25.
Existing Jio users: A recharge plan worth Rs. 299 or more, that provides a quota of at least 1.5GB per day.
New Jio users: Get an activate a new Jio Sim with a recharge plan of Rs. 299 or higher.
