Virat Kohli is going to play for Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. The former Indian captain had joined RCB’s camp, and is now getting ready for the IPL.
Kohli will play under captaincy of Rajat Patidar. Even though he was expected to mark his return with captaincy, but that did not happen.
Virat Kohli to create history:
Virat Kohli will create history and secure his name in the books of history as he plays for RCB in the tournament opener against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). Kohli will become the first Indian player to play 400 T20 matches, 100 Test matches, and 300 ODI matches.
Kohli’s T20 debut came for Delhi in April 2007. He got taken by RCB in the IPL player’s draft before the inauguration of the league, and he has been playing for them ever since. Virat is the only player in IPL history to play for same franchise in every edition so far.
