Yuvraj Singh seems to have went back to his golden days as he showed a great knock in the semifinal of the International Masters League (IML) between India Masters and Australia Masters in Raipur on Thursday (March 13). Yuvraj scored 59 runs off 30 balls.
Australia Masters won the toss and had opted to bowl first, India posted a total of 220 runs on the board. Yuvraj’s knock came with a strike rate of 196.76, which included 7 sixes which were hit all over the ground. Sachin Tendulkar (42 off 30 balls), Stuart Binny (36 off 21 balls), Yusuf Pathan (23 off 10 balls) and Irfan Pathan (19 off 7 balls) also made significant contributions.
Fans were left in a wave of nostalgia as they witnessed Yuvraj show his incredible display of the bat once again. Lot of fans remembered his ever-lasting habit of coming out on the big stage against Australia.

For the insight, Yuvraj Sing was the Player of the Match (POTM) in three of the five matches when India beat Australia in the knockout match of an ICC event. His ODI debut in 2000 Champions Trophy quarter-final, the 2007 T20 World Cup semi-final and the quarter-final of the 2011 World Cup were the matches where he was given this award.
