England pacer Chris Woakes, who injured his shoulder while saving the boundary, might be able to play on the fifth day of the final test as England are only left with four wickets only. The team needed him to bat and put his body on the line to win the match.

Woakes is currently practicing to bat for the place at No. 11. He was preparing himself on Sunday in the indoor school. England need 35 runs to win the match and register their name in the Anderson-Tendulkar series.

England batter Joe Root said about the availability of Chris Woakes: “I’ve not seen him practice yet. You might get a better indication tomorrow if he has some throwdowns in the morning”.

English run chase said that “It’s been that kind of series, where guys have had to put bodies on the line. Hopefully, it doesn’t get to that. But he had some throwdowns in here (the indoor school) at one point, and he’s ready if needed… He’s desperate to do what it takes.”
