MS Dhoni’s Army-Themed Hummer in Ranchi
Former India captain MS Dhoni gave fans another unforgettable moment when he was spotted driving his massive Hummer in Ranchi. The video, which has now gone viral on social media, shows Dhoni behind the wheel of his uniquely modified SUV.
Dhoni, who retired from international cricket in 2020, remains one of India’s most loved cricketers. At 44, he still plays in the Indian Premier League (IPL) and even captained Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in 2025 when regular skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad was ruled out with an injury.
The Story Behind Dhoni’s Army-Inspired Car
The special thing about Dhoni’s Hummer is its striking Indian Army theme. The vehicle features custom artwork of fighter jets, tanks, aircraft, and soldiers in action. This design reflects Dhoni’s deep respect for the armed forces.
According to IANS, the modification was carried out in 2024 by a Ranchi-based car studio. Its founder, Achyut Kishore, confirmed that Dhoni personally requested the army-inspired design. As per Car Dekho, the Hummer’s base price is around ₹75 lakh. With modifications, the value is estimated to have increased by at least ₹5 lakh.
Dhoni’s Tough Season with CSK
Meanwhile, Dhoni’s return as captain in IPL 2025 was not as successful as fans had hoped. CSK struggled throughout the season, winning only four matches and finishing at the bottom of the table. However, Dhoni’s leadership still brought a few impressive victories toward the end of the campaign.
What’s Next for MS Dhoni?
At a recent event, Dhoni was asked about his cricketing future. He kept fans guessing by saying:
“I don’t know whether I’ll play or not. I have time to decide. I’ll take a couple of months more and then finally make my decision.”
Although age and a past knee injury have slowed him down, Dhoni continues to inspire. Whether on the pitch or driving his army-themed Hummer in Ranchi, the legendary captain remains a symbol of passion and resilience.
