Aiden Markram scored a century in the WTC final against Australia, helping South Africa come close to a victory. Day 3 was not a good start for SA as they lost 2 wickets early on, and Australia were the favorite team to win. However, Markram’s century shocked everyone.
Aiden Markram scored 102 runs in 159 balls till stumps got called on Day 3, putting South Africa close to a historic victory. Markram got backing from their captain Temba Bavuma, who scored an unbeaten 6, stitching a 143* run partnership with Aiden for the third wicket.

Aiden Markram and Temba Bavuma will begin Day 4 for South Africa as the team is very close to victory. SA were at 213/2 when stumps were called on Day 3, and now need only 69 runs to won.
