In the ongoing WCL, South Africa Champions pulled off one more match and steal’s the ticket from one of the best team Australia Champions. The match played between them on Thursday in the second semi-final at Edgbaston.
The match went to the very last ball. Australia Champions needed 3 runs on 1 ball. Wayne Parnell delivered a yorker to the batter, Dan Christian.
However, Dan Christian converted it into a full toss. He hitting it into a straight area of the ground. De Villiers was the fielder standing there, he collected the ball and threw it towards Wayne Parnell. The Australian batters wouldn’t be able to complete 3 runs and lose their wicket as a run out and loss the match.
The result meant that South Africa will play against Pakistan Champions in the final.
