S Badrinath has been one of the most loyal supporter of Chennai Super Kings (CSK), and has been involved in matters regarding Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) not winning the Indian Premier League (IPL) before 2025. Badrinath made his debut for the five-time title winners in 2008 season, and was with them till 2013. With his time in the team, he won two titles- one in 2010 and one in 2011.
Now, in recent time, S Badrinath has been facing trolls by Royal Challengers Bengaluru during a Tamil Nadu Premier League match. Badrinath, however, did not show any signs of being annoyed, but just smiled and gave a thumbs up to all the people as his reaction.

Speaking about Royal Challengers Bengaluru, they won their first Indian Premier League title in 2025, as they beat Punjab Kings by 6 runs in the final match of the tournament. PBKS, led by Shreyas Iyer, were at the top of the table by the end f the league stage, with RCB being at the second.
Punjab Kings and Royal Challengers Bengaluru faced each other in the Qualifier-1 clash for being the top-2 teams in the points table. RCB won that match by 8 wickets, as it was a low-scoring clash with PBKS posting just 101 runs on board. The Rajat Patidar-led side completed their small chase in just 10 overs, and had secured their place in the final.
Punjab Kings were sent to the Qualifier-2 match, where they faced Mumbai Indians- who had won the eliminator match against Gujarat Titans. PBKS and MI then faced each other in the 2nd Qualifier to secure their place in the finals, and the Shreyas Iyer-led side won that match.
Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Punjab Kings then faced each other once again, this time in the title-deciding clash, where RCB eventually came out victorious as PBKS failed to chase their target of 191 in their given 20 overs, falling short by just 6 runs. As a result, the Rajat Patidar-led team won their first-ever IPL title after 17 long years of disappointment.
