Indian spinner Kuldeep Yadav got engaged to his childhood friend Vanshika in a private ceremony held in Lucknow on Wednesday.
The ceremony was kept intimate and traditional, attended by close family members and friends as well as several cricketers from Uttar Pradesh, including India and Kolkata Knight Riders batsman Rinku Singh. The engagement took place at a city venue, where the couple exchanged rings, beginning a new chapter in their lifelong bond.
Hailing from Shyam Nagar in Lucknow, Vanshika works at LIC and shares a deep friendship with Kuldeep that dates back to their childhood. Their close association over the years turned into love, which culminated in a heart-warming engagement in the presence of loved ones. While these off-field achievements have brought happiness to Kuldeep’s personal life, his cricket journey is a story of resilience and reinvention.
The 30-year-old had an impressive IPL 2025, taking 15 wickets in 14 matches with an economy rate of 7.08 and a bowling average of 24.07. His best performance of the season was 3/22, highlighting his continued importance in the T20 format.
